In fact you do not have to own a whole horse to get 100% of the thrill of winning - friendly, well managed partnerships mean you have like-minded partners to share in the experience making it even more special.
However the thrill of winning is just the icing on the cake.....
Imagine going to the races to watch your horse - going into the parade ring and assessing its chances with your trainer. Next comes the tremendous thrill of watching it race and discussing how it ran with the jockey and trainer. Then there are unlimited stable visits - watching your horse in its build up and discussing where it should race next and what jockey to choose. This is not an impossible dream......
As experienced owners ourselves, we have demonstrated that we have the contacts and knowledge to purchase promising young horses and place them with a trainer who can realise their potential. So how do we help you fulfill the dream?
Involvement - Owners are welcome to visit the stables at any time to watch their horse in training and to talk to the trainer. We are available 7 days a week to discuss your horse and answer any questions.
Owners' badges - When your horse runs you will be entitled to a complementary owners badge giving you access to areas of the racecourse exclusive to owners - parade ring, winner's enclosure, and the owners and trainers bar. We will be in attendance at the racecourse to ensure that your day goes smoothly.
Communication - Owners receive regular updates on their horses, and others in the yard, via telephone calls, e-mail and through a newsletter. We ensure that owners are always kept fully informed of how their horses are progressing.
Purchasing - Our trainer and bloodstock agents regularly scour the sales to find horses that have the potential quality.
Personal service - Each year we limit the number of horses we purchase for partnership and sell only 1/12 shares or greater through to whole horses. This ensures your personal involvement with your horse and that every owner receives the highest quality personal service.
Professional management - The partnerships are professionally set up and managed with a comprehensive agreement to protect the individuals rights and benefits.
Securing your assets - All partnerships and partners are registered with Weatherby's (administrators for the Jockey Club) with the horse registered to the partnership. This means that the partners own the horse, it is not the property of Beat The Bookie PLC. Similarly all income is paid direct into a partnership account at Weatherby's and is not held by BTB.
